Nub Nub Habano

Nub Habano 460 — 4.4/5 Smoking time: 60 minutes Excellent cigar. Effortless draw from the start, producing lots of thick, creamy smoke. Opened with pronounced cedar and pepper, initially noticeable along the sides of my tongue, and a long, lingering finish. As I settled into it, darker toasted wood and leather became more prominent. The pepper mellowed, becoming more noticeable toward the back of my tongue and in the finish. There was also a pleasant tingling sensation on my lips. The final third grew richer and stronger, with more noticeable nicotine, but the flavors remained enjoyable. The burn became quite uneven and the cigar ran a little hot, although one touch-up corrected it. No relights required. Overall: Rich cedar, toasted wood, leather, subtle pepper and a long savory finish. Excellent smoke production and a wonderfully easy draw. A full hour was just right. 4.4/5 — Would definitely buy again. Right alongside the Nub Cameroon and Oliva Serie G Maduro among my favorites so far.
