Picked this one up from Mardo on one of my recent hauls. First found about Cavalier on here and am happy I did. Tried the Claro first and now the Oscuro. Same guts different wrapper and what a difference πŸ’¨πŸ”₯ Lighting up the Cavalier GenΓ¨ve 10th Anniversary Toro alongside a neat pour of DiplomΓ‘tico Reserva Exclusiva Rum. If you’re looking for a dessert-style pairing that hits on another level, this is it. Cavalier packes 10 different tobaccos into a 6.25 x 52 vitolaβ€”blending leaves across Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and India. It kicks off with a super velvety smoke texture, bringing dense baking cocoa, sweet cherries and warm baking spices right out of the gate. Pouring the Reserva Exclusiva unlocks the magic here. The Venezuelan rum's heavy, sweet profile of caramelized toffee, vanilla fudge, and dark chocolate completely rounds out the cigar's mid-palette spice. The rum's subtle orange zest note elevates the fruity retrohale of the stick perfectly. It’s rich, decadent, and incredibly smooth. And yes, you smoke right through that signature Cavalier 24k gold foil leaf! πŸͺ™πŸ”₯ Weigh in your thoughts if you tried both. Claro or Oscuro? My pick is team OscuroπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Let me know πŸ‘‡ #CavalierGeneve #10YearsCrafting #DiplomaticoRum #ReservaExclusiva #CigarPairing #RumAndCigars #BoutiqueCigars #CigarAficionado #NowSmoking #Botl #Sotl #CigarLife #PremiumCigars #GoldFoil #SippingRum #PairingChronicles
