It started creamy and mild with the Connecticut wrapper on the foot. cocoa with a hint of pepper. As it hit the maduro, the leather came out, as did a hint of dark sweetness. still cocoa. the sweetness builds through the middle third. there is an underlying flavor and scent I can't identify. it isn't unpleasant, but different.
